Misty rain and the bare ground made a peaceful setting for checking out Fortune Lake and Dunlop Falls. We were blessed to be alone so even with the background sounds of rushing water we were able to listen to nature’s sounds. From the other side of the lake a Canada Goose came honking at us to say we were too close to his territory. Hypnotized by the beauty of water we could have stood there forever allowing light rain to land on us.
