Wetlands and Fall Colours

by Margaret on October 13, 2022

I really don’t know why wetlands (swamps, bogs, marshes) attract me, but they do so I walk Burma trail regularly to observe and explore them.  In the spring I love the emergence of a variety of colours and shapes, and in the fall the colours act as a beautiful backdrop setting them off.

I haven’t always been attracted, reacting to the thick yucky coverings and the mucky dense water.  If I don’t fall in or don’t have to walk in them, my eyes are open to their beauty.

Here are some photos that I hope illustrate their beauty in fall.  And, its ok if you’re not attracted to them.
