Stunning in the Rain

It’s poured rain all day today so no plans for a hike, but I did have an errand to do in Old Chelsea so put my camera in the car, just in case it wasn’t raining in the Gats.  No such luck.  I decided to play tourist though and drive the parkway as there certainly weren’t many folks out looking at the colours in the pouring rain.  The colours were stunning.  The lovely fog along with the rain created such a soft mood and the orange and yellow colours seemed brilliant.  Getting caught up in the tourist role I drove to all the iconic spots, something I don’t usually do, and had fun taking photos,

Here are some photos from Pink Lake, Champlain Lookout, Fortune Lake (through the trees), Meech Lake and finally the bog near P8.  The errand didn’t come to completion but I thoroughly enjoyed my jaunt seeing the colours in the rain.
